首先感謝記者朋友們如此頻撲走上港大這個中立場做採訪。
今晚學聯與政府的會面，乃雙方有共識的，是為兩方正式政改談判前的籌備工作會議。學聯強調，在未完全達成談判原則之共識前，不會展開正式政改談判，亦不會討論政改內容。
今晚會面，雙方都同意了，對於日後的對話是持開放態度，而學生與政府的對話是直接而互相尊重的。
但是，學聯今晚是帶著三個原則去跟政府商討的。
1。學生與政府的對話須為多輪對話。
2。學生與特區政府的對話須為對等的對話。
3。政府須確認並執行學生與政府之對話結果。
由於是次籌備會議未能就學聯以上三個原則達成共識，因此學聯暫不會與政府展開正式的政改談判。
既然政府和學聯都同意對日後的會面持開放態度。學聯希望，在下一輪與政府之籌備會議上，能就此三個原則作進一步討論，務求達成共識，方會開展正式的政改談判。
【HKFS' Three Principles for Starting Formal Negotiation on Political Reform】
1. There should be several rounds of negotiation between HKFS and HKSAR Government.
2. The negotiation between HKFS and HKSAR Government should be on equal footing.
3. HKSAR government should confirm and execute the outcomes of the negotiaitons.
Since HKFS and the HKSAR government have not reached a consensus on the ground of these three principles, we are not going to start the formal negotiation on political reform until a consensus is reached.
We should emphasize, the dialogue tonight was not a formal negotiation on political reform, instead it is only a preparatory meeting.
