再次要求交代北京維權律師高智晟下落

北京維權律師高智晟自今年2月4日被公安帶走至今仍然失踪，本會對他的人身安全表示極度關注。
我們從總部在美國的對華援助協會得悉，中國駐美大使周文重首次回應關於高智晟現況，並聲稱公安局當局沒有對高智晟採取任何強制性行動。本會主席何俊仁律師與本會其他成員將於6月17日（本周三）中午十二時四十五分到中聯辦請願，再次要求中國政府公開交代高智晟的下落。
何俊仁律師並會於當天繼續進行第十四周逢星期三的二十四小時絕食，本會國際事務秘書關尚義律師(John Clancey)繼續每周三進行十二小時絕食，支持高智晟及內地其他受壓的維權律師。

Beijing human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng is still missing after he was taken away by public security officers on 4 February this year. China Human Rights Lawyers Concern group is deeply concerned about Lawyer Gao’s personal safety.
We learned from the US-based China Aid Association that Chinese Ambassador to the United States Zhou Wenzhong for the first time has responded to repeated demands about Lawyer Gao’s situation. The ambassador claimed that the public security authority has not taken any mandatory action against Lawyer Gao. Albert Ho Chun-yan, chairman of China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group, and other members of the Concern Group are going to stage a demonstration outside the Central Government Liaison Office at 12:45pm on 17 June 2009 (this Wednesday) to repeat our demand for information about Lawyer Gao’s whereabouts.
Albert Ho Chun-yan, chairman of the Concern Group, will continue his 14th weekly 24-hour fasting on Wednesday and John Clancey, international affairs secretary of the Concern Group, will continue his 12-hour fasting every Wednesday to support Lawyer Gao and other mainland human rights lawyers subjected to suppression.
