海豚生活在一個聲音世界，聲音支配了我們的生活。
請合上你的眼睛，運用你的想像力，你現在身處海中，慢慢浮沉，悠然自得。聽聽大自然為你演奏的音樂，柔和的海浪聲，不同的生物發出的奇異但和諧的叫聲，當中夾雜著動人的歌聲，音調或高或低，所唱的是一首首醉人的樂曲。沒錯，那是我們海豚美妙的歌聲。我是NL226花生，因為頭部像一粒花生而被命名。我們每一個其實都是歌唱家，用歌聲般的叫聲溝通，對我們來說是生活中的小樂趣。
我們身處的是一個聲音的世界，我們用高頻的迴聲定位了解海底萬物，海底裡不同的聲音在我們耳中都特別響亮，哪怕是一個浪拍打岸邊的聲音，或者是一條魚的叫聲，我們都聽得一清二楚。這樣你應該可以明白噪音對我們生活有多大影響，長年累月的噪音令我們的生活質素大大下降，使我們更難覓食和溝通。
沙洲及龍鼓洲海岸公園曾經是一個寧靜的小天地，由於裡面的船隻不多，而且都被限速，加上與附近的工程相隔甚遠。我聽說第三條跑道的範圍將與沙洲及龍鼓洲海岸公園距離十分近，只有不足一公里的距離，很快大大小小的工程船就會泊滿海岸公園的附近，高速船的航道亦會更貼近海岸公園，即使航道繞過龍鼓洲的北面亦會影響海岸公園，甚至影響更多豚友。這不是說我們在大嶼山北連最後一片安靜的樂土也留不住嗎？人類呀人類，請聽我唱一首歌…

環評報告的問題 (二十三)
環評報告並沒有回應研究概要中研究不同船隻所發出的躁音。機管局除了量度高速船的噪音外，並沒有包括工程間數目會大幅上升工程船和接載工人的船，而機管局所採用量度高速船的方法(EARs)亦未夠全面，只能作定點監察，而現在其實已經有其他可以更近距離量度船隻噪音的方法，但機管局沒有採用。而環評報告亦沒有研究海豚在噪音下的聲學行為的改變，以進一步評估噪音對海豚的影響。
